if you want to know how a cinematic production is done take a look at heavenly sword. Then, take a look at mass effect and you'll notice the imperfections right away.
Ferrari Laptops all over again.
" No, boys and girls, there's no alien-like rumble tech here; it just shakes, most likely using a small metal weight attached to the spinning pin of a little electrical motor, just like all other rumbling controllers (Sony wouldn't let us break out the screwdrivers to confirm that, however)."
that defeated the whole purpose of the article.
there's something about this game that screams originality/creativity/knowled ge/wisdom and good creative and programming skills.
To think its being done by a couple of kids.
this game will be my first ratchet and clank game, I always bought the Jak series over ratchet but I'm getting this game. Also, I really would like to see what they can do with Resistance rise of man.
lol at the fake report.
they can't seem to learn from their mistakes. Not only do the faulty system cost them a lot of money but they cases and disc will double their costs. I don't think a lot of people bought the legendary other wise there would be little profit from the disc.
User Generated Content is more than simply adding items.
It's all about User CREATED content. Editing is good but creating is infinitely better.
don't be silly. THey wouldn't eliminate all the USB ports simply reduce the number of them. Cut them in half.
Blu-ray interface is a GUI interface, what java brings to the table is a well known language that gives you the liberty to program anything in the disc. a game or whatever you please.
iHD is Microsoft's approach to user interface. I don't know what you read but make sure they don't mislead you.
"As of right now there are no options for capturing snapshots or videos directly to the system, but hopefully Sony will add at least rudimentary functionality for this with a future firmware update."
either someone forgot to tell them or they completely forgot that the camera is released with software to edit/record pictures and edit/record video.
it has the feel of a Sony production. Especially that of Jak.
I really want finding nemo on blu-ray.
You are a Comptuer Science student and yet you are telling us that Java is a horrible language for Graphic User interface? You should tell that to Solaris Operating System
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
or the java "Three-dimensional user interfaces"
perhaps it would be best to take other languages to increase your scope on other High level Programmable languages.
I hope we can print our own calenders.
off topic.
perhaps people have not noticed or perhaps I did not noticed but I was not aware that SMX (home theater) has a blu-ray player to watch movies like they were intended to be.
pon pon pata pata pata pon
Ico - I appreciate that the developers wanted to leave it up to personal interpretation, but the conclusion just wasn't satisfying. Or perhaps I just didn't want the game to end...
hmmm?
The ending was the best ending there is. THe only ending that can make a person cry. I think they are confusing bonus alternative ending. After the game is over and you watch the credits you get an alternative ending. That ending is a dream..... in a sense that you see the person...
Ultimatum is at number 6
btw, expand the image or increase the resolution.
didn't you hear its 35 nanoseconds long now, geez try to keep up! or we will kick you out of our xbox 360 fan club.
btw just so you can keep up, next week we are going to be at 10 picoseconds
then the week after 15 femtoseconds
and once we get to 1 yoctosecond the game is non existent and we move on to the next game.
